Tainan County private
Kang-Ming senior high school was founded
in the spring of 1962 by 23 local gentlemen,
including Huang Tu and Zeng Zi-Lai, who were
enthusiastic about education and raised money to
found the school. In 1969, senior high school
was set up and had its name Tainan County
Private Kang Ming High School. While in 1979, it
was officially given the name as Tainan County
Private Kang Ming Senior High School, with
junior high school and affiliated commercial
vocational cramming senior high school. In 1980,
the Kang Ming Senior High became a complete
school. The result of JCEE in 1983 honored the
school.
From then on, Kang Ming Senior High enjoyed an
honorable reputation. The academic achievements
of the following years enhanced the school's
prestige. United Way Taiwan put Kang Ming Senior
High as a top school as Taipei First Girls High
school and Taipei Municipal Jianguo High School.
As for junior high school, the school has also
achieved a great success in BC Test.
